William J. Wright, age 69, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away November 17, 2010, at his home near El Dorado Springs, MO. He was born October 25, 1941, in Kansas City, KS, to Ernest and Thelma Nancy Jane Wright.
While living in Kansas City, Bill married Edna Pearl Winder on November 4, 1963. To this union two children were born: Billy and Nancy.
Bill worked for many years in El Dorado Springs at the Laminated Beam Factory and at Barringtons. He was a devoted husband and father, loving his family very much. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. While his health permitted Bill enjoyed gardening, especially growing lots of tomatoes.
Preceding Bill in death were: his parents; his wife Edna Pearl; and five brothers and sisters.
Bill is survived by: one son Billy Wright of Jerico Springs, MO; one daughter Nancy Harrison of Jerico Springs, MO; three grandchildren: Candy, Melissa and Cody; one brother Jack Wright; two sisters: Kathy and Shirley; one sister-in-law Alline Simmons and husband James of Stockton, MO; five brothers-in-law: Ray Winder and wife Sue, Larry Winder and wife Donna, Roy Winder and wife Edna all of Stockton, MO; Eldon Winder and wife Dava of Butler, MO; and Merl Winder of Gulfport, FL; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for William (Bill) Wright were held at Pankey Cemetery on Friday, November 19, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Randy Hayward officiating. Services were under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
