Bonnie Elaine (Hines) Boultinghouse, age 64, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was born September 7, 1949, in Tuthill, SD, to Loy and Betty Hines. Bonnie grew up in Martin, SD, and lived there until her graduation from Bennett County High School in 1967.
Bonnie moved to Lamar, MO, shortly after graduation to live with grandparents, George and Francis Hines. Not long after moving to Lamar she met the love of her life Earl Boultinghouse. Earl and Bonnie were married June 1, 1968, and to this union four boys were born: Mike, Mark, Jeffery, and Jerami. Bonnie’s boys were her true devotion in life and she was an outstanding mother and friend to them.
Bonnie always put others needs above her own, especially when it came to her family. Bonnie loved to cook Sunday dinners for her family and did so often until recently when her health declined and she was no longer able to do so. Bonnie loved to garden and work outside. She enjoyed her true calling interior design and refinishing antique furniture.
Preceding Bonnie in death were her parents Loy and Betty Hines and one sister Linda Hines, who passed away at nine years old.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Earl of the home; her four boys: Mike and fiancée Karen; Mark and wife Dianna; Jeffery; and Jerami and wife Bethany, all of El Dorado Springs, MO; one brother, Doran Hines and wife Rosemary of New Castle, WY; one sister, Kristy Reynolds and husband John of El Dorado Springs, MO; seven grandchildren: Brant, Ashley, Haley, Whitney, Addi, Miley, and Bryli; and two step-grandchildren: Danielle and Brianna. Bonnie loved to spend time entertaining her kids and grandkids; they truly made her life fulfilling.
Bonnie truly was the backbone of her family and will be greatly missed by all.
