Obituary
Scott L. Fletcher, age 60, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away June 29, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born to Lewis and Nova Fletcher on August 10, 1954.

Scott worked for Sibley Grocery Store for 27 years, where he was treated like family. He enjoyed everyone he worked with and everyone who entered the store. He lived his entire life in the Tiffin area. He was avid fisherman, spending many hours in his boat with his dog, Shania. Scott enjoyed life to the fullest and he had many friends that he shared his life with.

On December 22, 2012, Scott was in a wreck due to heart problems and his life changed forever. His dedication and hard work to overcome his injuries were an inspiration to all who knew him. He far exceeded his doctors and caretakers expectations.

Preceding Scott in death were his parents; his beloved sister, Darlene Smith; and his niece, Brenda Koca.

Survivors include: one brother, Donny Fletcher and wife Georgia of El Dorado Springs, MO; one sister, Janice Howerton and husband Richard of Bolivar, MO; four nieces: Sherri Norman and husband Gary, Tammy Gill and husband John, Kimberly Hendrick and husband Bill, and Karen Smith; one nephew, Randy Fletcher and wife Carman; several great-nieces and nephews; and numerous friends that were like family to him.

Funeral services for Scotty Fletcher will be held Friday, July 3, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Bland officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Alder Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
