Obituary
Ruby A. Janes, age 82, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away April 10, 2017, at her home. She was the daughter, the sixth child, of Jake and Eula (Julian) Shaw. Ruby lived most of her life on a farm south of El Dorado Springs.

Ruby was married to Gene Lee in 1950, and he passed away in 1975. To this union one son was born, Larry Lee. She married John Janes in 1976. Ruby retired from the Shirt Factory several years ago after working there for over 40 years. She was well liked by all who knew her, and she never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Gene Lee; and nine siblings: Viola, Prudy, Ada, Carl, Sammy, Bud, Betty, Wanda, and Ty.

Survivors include her husband John of the home; a son, Larry (Becky) Lee; two sisters, Janie Shaw of Monett, MO and Oma Beshone of Nevada, MO; five grandchildren, Jay (Tracy) Lee, Jenny (Chad) Major, Justin (Addrianne) Lee, Josh (Sara) Villalba, and Doug (Tawny) Lee; four step-sons, David (Rita) Janes, Nick Janes, Lynn (Else) Janes, and Dwayne (Karen) Janes; their children; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ruby Janes were held on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Bland-Hackleman Chapel with Pastor Don Barger officiating. Elbert Ford provided music. Burial followed in White Hall Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were: Jason Lee, Douglas Lee, Rick Tompkins, Frankie Keith, David Janes and Josh Villalba.
